Kindle Meet Kindle

If you haven't noticed, Eco20/20 loves to highlight eco friendly energy saving items. About a month ago we highlighted the Amazon Kindle. This handy device was the neatest thing since sliced bread. You could read books on a screen that would not hurt your eyes. Just when we thought it could not get any better it did.

The Kindle 2 was announced a few weeks ago and we thought we should highlight why this is an important device. Hold the presses. Can you imagine having major books go right from the writers computer to your hand held Kindle without have hard books. This device saves energy all around. First, no printing, no trucks to carry the books, no cars to the bookstore. It is all online.

The Kindle 2 is lighter and more compact than ever. The device is much quicker than the original. Better dictionary better features. While the price may seem steep for some at $349, it is well worth the investment.
